Who Is Judah Knight?

Judah has been an adventurer all of his life enjoying such hobbies as backpacking and scuba diving. He’s had the thrill of backpacking through little-known places in the Andies, climbing to the ancient city of Machu Pechu, and hiking the Appalachian Trail. He became a certified scuba diver as a teenager and now dives around the world as he has the opportunity. He enjoys helping people share some of those experiences in his novels while enjoying a wholesome side of romance and adventure that may be hard to find in some of today’s popular writing in a similar genre.

“I consider my writing flinch-free fiction because you won’t turn a page in one of my books and “flinch” as you encounter a graphic scene. I write for adults, but you will find my novels would be safe for the whole family.”

Helping people experience fulfilling and meaningful relationships has led bestselling author Judah Knight to write books and speak to groups all over the world. Sports, music, church, a love for the outdoors, and a strong family shaped his life in the early years. He received his undergraduate degree in music from the University of Georgia and graduate degrees from schools in Texas and Louisiana. In addition to writing and speaking to groups regularly, he provides marriage and family counseling to families or couples in crisis and enjoys backpacking and camping with his family. One of his greatest joys came in meeting the love of his life at a conference, and they eventually married. He and his wife of forty years are blessed with six beautiful children and six wonderful grandchildren who bring great delight to their lives. Judah has written seven books in the Davenport Series: The Long Way Home, Hope for Tomorrow, Finding My Way, Ready to Love Again, and Love Waits, No Greater Love, and Christmas Captive. He’s working on a new series and expects to release the first three books in 2024.

He recently commented, “I am a blessed man, and I find great pleasure in sharing stories with people that will put a smile on their faces and hope in their hearts.”
