Searching for real treasure can cost everything!

Escaping a broken past, Lacy Henderson joins her aunt and uncle, Jon and Meg Davenport, in the Bahamas for a fresh start. Running away doesn’t always solve your problems. It depends upon whose arms you run into. Lacy Henderson discovers this fact as she joins her aunt and uncle in a summer program to help at-risk teens. The premise of the program is that if they can get boys off the streets and onto a salvage boat for the summer, where they participate in activities that develop character, foster friendships, and help them learn scuba diving skills, these boys will choose a promising path for the future.

Although Lacy is supposed to be a summer intern who has it all together, her life is far from solid. She has a lot to learn about life and love, and it seems like the Davenport’s salvage boat is the perfect place to learn it.

You’d think a summer program would be a simple and safe place, but not nothing seems to be simple and safe for the Davenports. Meg gives her niece a gift and has no idea this gift has significant value – especially to a man who will do anything to get it.
