“No Greater Love”

No Greater Love is finished!! In Book 5, Love Waits, Jon and Meg Davenport, along with Lacy, Kerrick, Jose, and Ann, travel to Mexico on a short vacation and explore an ancient, Mesoamerican city called El Tajin.

If you read Book 5, you know the best laid plans and ideas never seem to work out, and though the story seems to end well, you know all is not well. The Davenports and their friends have several close calls that lead them to leave Mexico, but they eventually return with hopes of following some clues that could lead to the discovery of ancient treasure. Of course, every adventure reveals even greater challenges and obstacles.

Lacy continues to struggle with her parents while admiring Jon and Meg, her aunt and uncle. Jon and Meg help Lacy work through her personal struggles even as Lacy’s relationship with Kerrick grows deeper. In No Greater Love, the group encounters the trials of an enemy, the threat of the Mexican Cartel, the beauty of the Mexican jungle, the sorrows and heartache life can sometimes bring, the thrill of the challenge, and the surprise of a lifetime.

  1. I don’t see any mentor book 6. Please say there is one. What happens with everyone and Miguel is still alive. That’s not fair

    • Thank you so much for your note and for your interest in the Davenport Series. I am currently working on book 6. It will be a while longer before it’s out, but it’s coming.

  2. Dear Judah,
You’ve done it again! I started reading the Davenport series in 2017. I was hooked then and have continued to be hooked ever since. You do a wonderful job researching to insure that the stories flow and are believable. I love that you include some history along the way, but what really hooks me is the intrigue and love stories woven into the books. I knew in my head that this latest book was fiction, but my heart was torn out right along with Meg thinking that Jon didn’t make it out of the hidden city. I even got up one night after going to bed because I couldn’t get the story out of my head and I needed to read the next several chapters. Thank you for the intrigue, history, and love stories, but most of all thank you for weaving the truth of God’s love throughout your books!

    Cheryl
